DSSGx Munich / CDL Meetup and Espresso talk

Data Science for Social Good (DSSGx) Munich is a 2-month fellowship program for talented data scientists from all around the world to contribute to social initiatives in Munich. This year, the team is supporting two projects with the UN’s International Organization for Migration’s Global Data Institute (IOM GDI), and the National Park Administration Bayerischer Wald. The 2 projects are Enhancing Strategic Foresight and Preparedness by estimating the impact of events on migration flows with machine learning and Data-driven visitor management in the National Park Bavarian Forest

We are hosting the DSSGx team in our Civic Data Lab in Berlin for a networking meetup. During the meetup the Fellows will be presenting their work in a special Espresso talk, which will also be streamed online. ( Zoom Link)

If you are in Berlin, come by for a coffee and an informal networking with CDL and DSSGx at our Caritas office, Reinhardtstraße 13, 10117 Berlin. If you can’t make it in person, you can register here for the Livestream and download the ics to add it to your calendar.
